At the few African trade sellers I found two more additions to my collection of phenolic resin beads. The larger strand is sourced in Ethiopia, and the smaller necklace, which included some real amber bits, was said to be found in Sudan.

The second picture shows a phenolic bead necklace from the European tradition. The small spacer beads are another plastic. I'll be doing more to confirm the identity of the plastics one I re-string this piece.
