They show a clear resemblance to me to these newly made Indonesian bead. This picture was taken at the Amsterdam ethnic bead fair a few weeks ago at the table of the Beadbrothers. They import pretty much all their beads from Indonesia.
Some of these beads do copy an ancient beads or a vintage beads, other are more 'liberal' interpretations.
To me, they look like they could be inspired by this one in the left hand corner of this image on Pinterest.
