I sent an email back to Judy asking what she wanted me to do on the old agate bead. Well it turned out that all six beads were a gift, she had told me some months earlier that she was sending these beads as a gift and I had forgotten.
I got back to Judy thanking her and called the large agate bead “Old Dog” and told her that I was going to put it on the shelf on my smithing bench. Judy did not realize that if something ends up on that shelf its is very, very special and got back to me saying.
“I'm feeling a bit embarrassed because I don't think it made much of a impression on you. Oh well at least it's among friends on your smithing bench.”
This post is to let Judy see that what is on the bench, the things on the bench are all treasures, I have had a shelf on my bench for years and always have treasures there so I get to see them when I am working.
I want the thank Judy for this wonderful bead that has an almost unbelievable amount of character and who knows how many owners it has had and how many years its been a bead. It is a treasure to me and always will be.
All my best ........... Danny
