I simply enjoy the process of seeing beautiful things.
And love to meet others who have an artistic eye too.
Even if I were to maximize the price of cheap items, the profit is pennies.
And I don't enjoy dealing in volume. The Chinese dealer's ebay logo is:
"The meager profit but high turnover, good faith management!"
To me, the dealer's sales pitch seems humble, curious and amusing.
If I were to try to maximize the profit on the carnelian and aventurine,
I might eventually make three or four dollars. Better beads are more fun;
I prefer to pay $30. and sell for $35. -than to pay .30¢ and sell for $3.00
The bead business is a good business; but only if you enjoy the process.
