I agree with Danny about the "stones" all being imitation "block" material. The beads could be Philippine but I think China is more likely. Consider the world globes that still come from China with inlaid stone (both block and real) coloring the seas and continents. I've seen inlaid beads in HK and Guangzhou but not with the same geometric designs. The ones I saw were brass with silver or gold plate.
