In chinese we have a word "kengkou" that means the bronzeware's birth place. these bronze ornaments are of typical Gansu "kengkou" and if you know the jadeware of the same period you will find they were made to simulate the jade tubes and rings which were populor among the nobles living east to Gansu in so called "central land" during the spring autume period.
