This is new for me and I've never seen this type of shell beads, very luminous like real pearls but fragile to handle. Are some curved shell flocks assembled to make beads this way or the shell itself has this round bead shape ? For now I'm a bit cautious to disintegrate the strand while it will be necessary in order to secure the strand. It hangs on a tiny nylon thread. Thanks for your tips if you have knowledge of this type of beads. The strand is graduated from 18mm around to 12mm beads and 4mm false pearls in between. And any idea of the period of necklace?
