That bead is GORGEOUS! Look at the shimmering iridescent patina! Is it one of those older Islamic glass eye beads that people often pair with the Djenne dig beads I am in love with? I was up late last night, like 3 am sitting in bed with my stash of 'Roman' Bactrain Kingdom glass, using brass brushes, pins and other knick knacks to carefully scrape away the ugly part of the patina and reveal all the gorgeous iridescent stuff underneath :) I was covered in sparkles when I was done and the pieces were glowing with rainbows!
