Original Message:   More beads on the street
Walking around the outskirts of the town I came across this scene: an old vessel where the rough glass used to be made in, filled with sand, glass beads, glass scraps and cigarette buts. On the floor was more of the bead/glass mix. There was a sign at the door indicating a beadmaker, and the big chimney that goes with it. Besides the vessel was a white marble tombstone, just on the sidewalk, which appears to me the grave of someone from the Klaar family. This was also a major producer of beads and buttons in the early days.
