Original Message:   Thanks for showing these
And here are the ones that Stefany sent me previously: very interesting decorated prossers. These seem to be decorated, and then fired. The decoration at the bottom shows where the bead would have sat on the kiln surface. Maybe the beads were decorated in the factory where the prossers were made, with a second firing for the decoration? Or maybe they were decorated elsewhere? It seems that the flat surface left by firing is rougher on these than on other prosser beads. Would love to see your pictures of decorated prosser beads.

The first image shows a Venetian bead, a prosser bead with a similar base colour and a white feather decorated prosser bead. The second picture shows 3 decorated prosser beads, showing the rough bottom.
