My friend Karen put together this necklace for me with some ancient Afghan beads I had: stone (mainly quartz),glass, shell and some small 'moon' African trade beads. The silver end beads are Turkoman; The chain is new silver. When I wear it it just feels right and part of me.The picture does not do it justice though. I still have to finish my first own composition some time soon. Not sure it will be up to the high standards here though .
