Dear Highlander, As discussed recently here, tiger coral is closely related to apple coral. Tiger coral lacks the reddish blush, but has darker veining that suggests the name. Tiger coral is not spotted nor spotty. Plus, it likewise has the "spongy" texture I discussed. Nevertheless, thanks for your guess.
