...the Paiwans can't claim authorship for any beads, except for that new ceramic stuff. Let's not create any more trans-provenance ambiguities like "Jenne" beads. Meanwhile, once you shake out all the stuff that can be traced to industries elsewhere, we're left with specimens from one or more unknown industries. So, what progress has been made in this matter with all the enlightenment of modern bead science? Where were the "unknown" beads made?
