Original Message:   An extensive Glossary of Bead Terms
Time for a reminder-

The Glossary, which I compiled can be found at the Bead Database. However I deliberately did not list names as such because they mean so many things to different people. There is also an alphabetical glossary in my first book "Beads!" from 1988 -pages 98-101.

At one of the conferences in Santa Fe a while back I printed out copies (for everyone who asked) of an alphabetical index of ORGANIC bead materials and techniques which I've been working on and expanding ever since.

In fact the names and even the supposed "age" of beads may be fun/folklore, but the terms for the techniques the materials and verifiable information about the users and places of use, etc. are what makes the subject of beads still so fascinating to me.
