I started working in a bead store in Greenwich Village NYC called Glory Beads in 1987 and immediately fell in love with beads and jewelry making. They closed shop in 1989 and I opened my own store on Christopher St in Greenwich Village in 1990. By 2003 I could not afford to keep the store open any more so I closed it and started working in the computer field.
