Original Message:   Leo Hakola at the Howard Johnson
I've heard about Leo for a long time. He used to sell at the Bridger rendezvous and at Tucson. Last year was his first time back to the big T in about 12 years. His room was stuffed with beads! There just isn't enough room to display everything but one is welcome to dig through the wooden boxes laden with product. This is for those with time and patience and an understanding of what they are pawing through. I'm hoping that at least one of Rosanna's pictures of Leo comes out okay. He is a most authentic looking character, with a kind nature and a sparkle in his eye!

Two green nueva cadiz, and a lovely strand of 5mm x 5mm clear "Russian" cut beads (clear versions of "Russian Blues") not seen (by me!) with an African trader in years were discovered (surface finds) in Leo's room. They are approx. 13mm x 25mm. The green NCs were at the bottom of a wooden box of.....eerrr....stuff. Always dig to the bottom.
