Hi Jamey, It's interesting that I did not think of this bead as a "melon" bead at all. When you look at the overall shape, the only "melon" aspect are the indentations. Nothing round about this bead at all AND typical "melon" bead do not have the indentations at an angle do they?. Instead of seeing a "melon" bead I saw a powder glass bead that had decoration loss.
