Hi Annemarie, some nice photos of islamic beads of the same type can be seen in the book "Middle Eastern and Venetian Beads" by Augusto Panini. There is a photo of a single bead in fig.42, page 50, and many beads of same type in necklaces portraited at page 110 and 111.
