I went through my bead stash and found lots of other examples, but none like the handful of oval-shaped tubes. Jamey, thanks for the in-depth info. I'll set these big ones aside for now, and work with more common versions. I've been "mudding" mine (like I do with my ivory artifacts) and that helps them look more like coral.
