From what I can tell, the beads being made in Taiwan are for the Taiwanese market only. They are not traded into Borneo. The Borneo market is supplied with beads from Java. Some of the bead designs can be pretty similar, but I have not seen the Taiwanese beads anywhere outside of Taiwan.
