Original Message: new question concerning ceramic/porcelain/glazed beads |

following on from the marvellous show of Czech bead museum images- thank you Floor! over very many years trawling through antique and flea markets i have rarely ever found 1930s jewellery with ceramic beads as on the cards Floor shows; neither european, nor threaded with african beads- so it looks as though it was a production line that didn't succeed in getting many orders at all. even today i see more Kazuri beads and necklaces around than any like the ones on the cards. i did have a few loose hollow ones that were European taste, but they attracted even less attention than the chinese spherical ones with birds and flowers, etc. maybe due for a revival?
