These look like nice beads. But it's very difficult to be sure of stone beads from photos, and carnelians are even more difficult, I find, than many others, because there is generally less variation in them (unless they're carved or otherwise decorated). Wear is simply not a reliable indicator; the surface patina frequently tells one more, but it's only very good photos that can communicate that adequately. We feel stone beads through our fingertips, don't we?

It would be useful to know more about where you think they're from, which time period, and why. There may be more to talk about then.
