I just got an email from a supplier of Baltic amber I purchased from decades ago. At the time, Michal Blawat was the only mail order amber source I could find. These were long strands of amber nuggets gathered from the Baltic Sea coast. I'll let the experts weigh in on whether that's a "thing" or not, but I ended up buying a kilo (to meet the minimum order for an overseas purchase at the time.) I still have several strands, and I still enjoy them.
