Original Message:   Hot worked...
Though Jamey can answer this, I think what he meant is that these small drops are lampworked. The molten glass is put onto the wire individually while working at a torch/burner.

There are lampworked beads that are also molded, both in one part molds, where the bead is pressed or rolled into it. Or they can be two part molds, where two halves are pressed together, leaving a seam.

However, when we talk about Czech molded beads, it is generally used to refer to a method where thick rods are heated in a furnace, and then they are shaped in a large two part mold. These beads are not lampworked.

In this case, both the drops and beads are lampworked, and no mold was used.

Looking at the finished piece, the overall style looks more French than Czech to me. Most Czech drops I have seen are made differently. The metal on the loops appears to have some copper content, looking at the green on it. The Czechs use kanthal wire, though I do not know if they always have. As Jamey says, the finned beads are more commonly found in French glass jewelry.
