to me these seem like Czech moulded beads -same shapes in different sizes and moulded with various streaky colour mixes- if the vintage tong-moulds were used then they worked with elongated glass rods of the mixes of 2 colours each- yellow + black, red + black, etc to give the variegated effect... pressed into the moulds, not wound.
