Hi Rosanna, I am surprised. How would you characterize the red glass, if this is not composed over a pale/opaque base bead? Is it a single slightly translucent red glass—such that you can see the shadow (or presence) of the perforation channel through its substance? I would be inclined to doubt that the red glass eroded-away enough to make the twisted cables become "raised." This is understandable in-theory, but not something one sees in reality.
