the shape, the indian face canes and patterned millefiori are instantly recognisable- the bead holes will be quite large and coated with a black furnace residue. a similar indian face cane on a bead can be seen on p28 and the sample cards on p.76 show the various typical shapes in my bead collector's book- Fun but not really old or rare!
