For me, the triangular aspect of the wings resembles a skipper—a small butterfly that typically folds its wings when landed. Note the attached images from my backyard two years ago. I agree that, from Asian art, cicadas are often mistaken for "butterflies." However, a cicada generally has a very fat body, in proportion to the wings, that therefore seem proportionally smaller than those of butterflies. Note the smaller thinner abdomen of the insect in-question. It is much more butterfly-like. This is based on the idea that the beads do not represent flies.
