Half way through my glass bead research trip in Asia. After India and Japan, I am now in China. So many stories to share, but for now, this image from yesterday struck me. Walker Qin organized a bead meeting together with the Fengxian museum (south of Shanghai). We met up beforehand for lunch. And the table and the food might be different, the scene was so familiar. Looking at beads, taking out the phone as flashlight, asking questions, sharing knowledge and stories. Like a BCN dinner on the other side of the world.
