Hello all! This item is listed in our collection as Muslim prayer beads but the fish shape is throwing me off since that is typically associated with Christianity. I am pretty sure the beads are soapstone and the piece was given as a gift in 1971 so it at least predates that. the whole piece is right at 9.5 inches long. Other than that we don't have much information on it. Have any of you come across something similar? Is it possible that these are worry beads rather than prayer beads? Thanks! Savanna Copyright 2024
