Last Saturday after a long time out of the running in connection with a cuff repair surgery finally able to make a trip to Amsterdam. And then of course to De Duif in Amsterdam for the Tribal Jewelry & Textiles fair. It was an encounter with many beads enthusiasts such as Hans, Hendrik and Martine. This time no joint lunch because each had his own appointments in Amsterdam. Big surprise was this time the beautiful catalog that the organizers had made and that each visitor got for free upon entering the fair. Also Hans caused a surprise by presenting two small booklets about Second Life Beads and Het Huis Ankeveen, which both concerned the associated exhibition with a selection of the collection of Wil Werkhoven on the upper floor in the Duif. Both booklets are printed in a limited edition. All in all it was worth visiting the fair. Hope to meet all beadfriends in 2019!
