Hello, thank you for tuning in. I need your help with these. These are not my beads but from someone who just came back from Burkina Faso where he bought them as 'glass' beads collected in Mali. After some investigation he came to the conclusion they are not glass and suspects they might be 'faience'. The holes are very small and not possible to look into them. The largest beads are about 26 mm with a diameter of 14 to 16 mm. Has anyone seen similar beads with similar colours? Does anyone know the origin of these beads, which period, which material.
