And an easy souvenir to carry home in your luggage. This lovely beaded bowl is traditional Huichol Indian (Mexico) work. It's done one bead at a time, set into a mix of pine pitch and bee's wax. They used some kind of gourd for the base. This is one of the many kinds of amazing craft they do; some years ago a CAR was shown all over the web that two families covered with seed beads using this technique!
