I have seen these before, and bought a bag of them because they were so odd. They were made in the Czech Republic. About the beads you call Prosser beads: they are not Prosser beads. They are 'regular' molded beads. This shape is sometimes called kakamba beads. For some reason, I often see them referred to as Prosser beads, but they are made with quite a different technique.
