Original Message:   Deco cinnabar necklace
I see many 1970s-80s boring cinnabar bead necklaces selling for $400-500, yet this interesting and authentic Deco necklace languishes unsold. eBay item 301789376813

The carving seems comparatively nice, for costume jewelry. I wonder about the quality of the cinnabar lacquer, if it's that recipe that has too much wax in it and thus has to be kept from heat? But at any rate, it seems like a collectible piece that could actually still be worn, as it's not too long and bothersome. Maybe the price is just too high?
