Hello Sallie, These beads look more like specimens from India or Europe than anything else I can think of. Nevertheless, back in the early 1980s, when old Chinese beads were beginning to flood the market, I recall I bought a pair of antique faceted bicone SILVER beads from China—that I selected because I thought they were so unusual to be Chinese. One cannot say this shape is entirely foreign to the Chinese; just as it is reasonable to expect there may be some Indian beads among old Chinese beads recovered in China. Never say never.
