I had a handful of these very dense greasy yellow wound beads, similar to yours pictured, and I used them in this necklace (shown). I found them on a mixed strand of some very nice beads I bought this year... hudson's bay/c-d'a/Venetian overlay beads (photo also attached). But I believe the yellow ones of mine are European wound glass, early trade era. I really like the textured one in your photo, very cool.
