Cool, thanks. The way I recollect this Pin from my old memory banks and from a photo with info was that it was a piece of Roman mosaic glass- like millefiori (not so much tiny mosaic pieces). It was maybe put into a rather inexpensive maybe brass setting with some other embellishments. The message was something like these were made as maybe costume jewelry pins and if you were lucky you might stumble across one in a second hand store. I just remembered this part of the story.
