by chance i was reminded about the conference related to glass beads in Venice this Saturday and as all my kids and grandchildren are away i got a ticket on the spur of the moment - going tomorrow, returning home Sunday. the exhibit at the museum in Murano which the new magnificent Panini book relates to is still on, but finishes the following weekend so i am double lucky- and will expand my italian bead vocabulary no doubt...
in the middle of that another panic, -now thankfully resolved just in time today, when my cellphone stopped working properly- anyway will try to report.
