Hi all,
Thank you Joyce and Jamey. I get a wide picture of zi beads. Can I say this? Pls correct me if I'm wrong.
Actually They are all zi beads but they are 2 types :
1. Pure zi beads which are practically opaque and mostly are eyed beads.
2. Chung zi beads which are banded zi and can be opaque or translucent.
The zi bead on the Yahoo main page is called Chung zi ( This is what you mention above " banded zi that appear to have untreated ends " , right ? )
and also tiger zi and horse's teeth zi beads are Chung zi.
The other question is I 've heard when we call pure zi beads. That means zi beads which were made in Tibet only. Is this correct or they could be made anywhere else but also can call pure zi beads as well such as Nepal.
Thank you so much
Best regards,
Pk
ps: How can I apply a membership in that link ? I could only see the main page.
