Hi Art, I have found Liugi very helpful in recent weeks when I have emailed him re. the origin of certain chevrons. The red "elbows" are his production entirely, I learned a few years ago. Check out his site (link below) where you will find old Conterie red chevrons, made from 50s cane (R10) as well as his "elbows" (R11), his production. The new elbows are together with older beads in the "old chevron" area, which is confusing for some, most likely.
