The more I look at them...the more the metal appears to be very soft. If they're mounted in gold, they're probably older rather than newer. It is also possible these are Himalayan beads from a prayer bracelet.

And, first hand, a gemologist can identify the stone. I hope Nishedha reads this and shares his thoughts.

Where did your mother collect them? And where are you located now?
