I can only assume you are referring to a loose style of painting -rather than a nearly photographic rendering.

But there are exceptions. For example, the inside painted glass ball beads and snuff bottles…sometimes are painted by master craftspersons and are nearly photographic in rendering. Whereas, the majority of beads and bottles (miniatures) are painted loosely because most buyers can only rationalize paying low prices.

Perhaps, it is nearly impossible to persuade others to agree concerning stylistic differences in renderings; "either you get it or you don't." -This is why I avoided discussions of style as evidence in the beginning of this thread.

We really need an opinion from a specialist in antique Asian ceramics. Meanwhile, we are just speculating -with the best of our knowledge- concerning two extremely odd beads.
