Original Message:   This is what I heard in response to asking the ebay dealer about authentication:
The ebay seller says:

"Hello: In regards to standing behind the pieces pertaining to age and identification, we typically ask clients to reach out to their own consultants for a few reasons. As this is ebay anyone can basically say anything they want. On both ends. Even if our analysis is sound, buyers can feel their opinion is also sound. We may feel based on our analysis an item has a certain value however that is subjective as is the identification of pieces even among significant instituations.

If we take a specific position on a piece and any buyer feels differently for any reason we are immediately at fault as this is ebay and as such is it best to let buyers make their own determination. Our consignments all come from sound sources and we are not at liberty to offer our team of advisors to potential clients fir a variety of reasons. I understand that this does not specifically offer actionable recourse on your part, however we do our best to present very clear and comprehensive images and we hope they can serve for any review and further analysis that may need to be conducted."
