I do not have Blair handy to make a comparison. (I thought the frontispiece was an Islamic Period millefiori bead—but I have not viewed it for a long time.) I jumped to the conclusion that the Etsy bead is Chinese because I consider it to be much-too-ugly and poorly-made to be Japanese.
