Original Message:   Diamond Ring, a well dressed Moon...
For those of you who don't watch the Science Channel or remember your High School Science class, Bailey's Beads are named after the British Astronomer who first figured out that the pin points of light around the circumference of the moon during a total eclipse were actually bits of sunlight peeking through the valleys of the Mountains of the Moon.

The Diamond ring effect only shows up as the total eclipse is beginning and ending where the last and the first point of light shows very brightly.

Even the Moon likes to adorn itself for special occasions.

Grin!
