Original Message:   Millefiori canes/rods?
What do we know about where you can get millefiori cane that is uncut? I'm thinking of cane with or without a hole. I'm familiar with what is on the Picard website and another vendor that sells some cane but they mostly sell cut millefiori marketed toward mosaic artists. I more or less know the story of old cane found in the conterie and it appears some of that is still being "worked" into beads today. But is it possible to get contemporary cane before it gets cut into millefiori slices? How about fatter cane, like perhaps a cane end? Every now and then Effetre Murano will post a picture showing all this cane, but again, it seems like what you can find through vendors is all cut up.

I just really like cane - it's some of my favorite glass in my bead collection and I'd love actual rods of some of my favorite millefiori patterns especially if it were a little on the fatter end.
