Original Message:   A great start!
This panel is modified from the original, which appears on page 30 of "A Bead Timeline" by James Lankton, documenting the exhibit by the same name at the Bead Museum in Washington,D.C. What a relief that this wonderful resource is being preserved and formatted by the Peabody Museum in such a way as to make it accessible to everyone interested. If the book shows the entire exhibit, then there about 7 more panels to go. The book is still available on Amazon, buy if you don't already have it, as it was only printed once and there have to be a finite # of copies still out there. The best I'm seeing today is new on Amazon for $32.50. A must if you care about ancient beads!

Thanks for posting it, Thomas!
