I feel it may be plastic.And I did ask for more images of the aperture. When they arrive, I may or may not ask for your help again. We shall see. It is an odd bead and thought you may enjoyed solving the What it is ? puzzle with me. I doubt that it is an ojime because I am very familiar with most of them.
