Original Message: Dodecahedron bead - Czech? |
---|
Found this oddity in with the usual cornerless cubes, vaseline patty-pans, melons - a dodecahedron. Ten sides. Was it cut, or molded and then cut? Anybody else have a gazillion of them? (looking at you, Ruth and John ;^) Also, one of the cornerless cubes isn't exactly that - it's like a cube with 4-sided pyramids built upon each of the 4 faces of the circumference (top right bead on string). Trying to find the technical name for this specific polyhedron gave me a brain cramp, so I gave up. All rights reserved by Bead Collector Network and its users |
